We are excited to announce that our mentorship intiative, “Empowering Early-Career Female Academics in Biosciences for Effective Leadership” has reached the workshop stage. This initiative, in collaboration with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, SESH Global, and the WHO TDR Global, aims to provide mentorship support to early-career female academics in biosciences, focusing on low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
WORKSHOP AGENDA
. overview of the HERMES practical guide: Understanding the framework for sustainable excellence in health research mentorship.
. Roles and Responsibilities: Clarifying the roles and responsibilities within the mentorship initiative.
. Institutionalizing Mentorship: Discussing the importance and process of formally establishing mentorship programs within the university, starting with the Bioscience Faculty
. Tools for Reflection and Learning: Introducing tools and strategies to enhance the mentorship experience.
