GENERAL ADMINISTRATION (ORGANOGRAM)

The Department is headed by the Head, who is responsible to The Dean, Faculty of Biosciences. The Department has a Departmental Board, composed of Lecturers assigned to the Department.  Decisions affecting the Department are taken at the Department Board meetings. The Head of Department appoints the Departmental Board Secretary and other committee chairmen and members which are ratified and approved in the Departmental Board meeting. The staff serves in various departmental committees thus the entire staff of the department is involved in one way or the other in the decision-making process and general administration of the department.
